We met in her office and discussed our past medical history and talked about the blood tests that would be done today. Daniel and I decided to go ahead and get me tested for Cystic Fibrosis...to see if I'm a carrier or not. We decided against any other testing because we wouldn't abort in a situation like that. Other than that, its was all normal blood tests; including thyroid to make sure everything is good!
We then went into the next room to see our baby. Its amazing how quickly its already grown in the past 5 days!!
She also said that we're 6w6d and RMA said that we're 7w even....so she said we can pick whichever!! LOL So I could go back to being due: October 12, 2011!! We also recorded the ultrasound:
Its amazing how fast the heartbeat is...and so much faster and stronger than the last time we got to hear it!! She also said that our chances of miscarriage have now dropped to 5%. So hopefully I don't fall into that small category. I've already grown so attached to this little booger...I don't want to ever let go!!
So nausea has hit me hard the past couple of days...but nothing where I'm laid up...i can still function. But I find that if I eat something cold or citrus-y it really helps calm it down! And of course my boobies are still killing me!! But I guess I can anticipate that until I deliver!! LOL
Our next appointment will be the 4th of March; where I'll be either be 8w3d or 8w4d....I guess they can pin-point it more at that time as well!! So until next time..........

Your boobs probably won't hurt the entire time, at least mine didn't during my first pregnancy. Oh man I remember when they first started hurting, it literally woke me up in a panic in the middle of the night!
