Hello all. I had my "12 week" appointment today. First let me tell you...I'm a part of a baby community, called Baby Center. So I'm a part of the October 2011 group; unfortunately about 15 of them have dropped out of the group because of miscarriage. So, I've been having horrible dreams about going to this appointment and they couldn't find the heartbeat and follow to an ultrasound to find that the baby didn't make it and that I would be miscarrying. Continue on to my appointment............
I thought all it was going to be was a doppler (where they listen for the heartbeat thru your belly) well they tried to find the heart beat thru my belly, but wasn't able to find it....I start to panic inside my head...so luckily they decided to just do an ultrasound.
Not only is our little booger still alive, but he/she is moving and bouncing around inside me. It was amazing to see that. I had tears in my eyes and couldn't believe how well my little one is doing!! If you pay attention to the video at one point you can make out the arm and see his/her bones in the arm. It was amazing how he/she would move when I would talk. AMAZING is all I can say! AMAZING!! OH and the pic is from under the baby because they had to do the ultrasound vaginally still. My uterus is still down in there and we were able to get a belly ultrasound, but the vaginal one is so much clearer! The big round mass seems to be the baby's stomach...or the circumference of the abdomen/chest area because you can see when she zooms out you can see a smaller bottom with the legs/feet showing! I'm so excited to get a clear abdominal shot so I can get a profile pic to add to the baby book!!
Needless to say, I think I'm going to stop going to the baby community for a long time. It just makes me paranoid and a worry wart, when I should be enjoying this pregnancy. So anyhoo drop me a line and let me know what you think!! YAY!

Ground Breaking......
They already starting putting up the frame work so they can lay down the foundation!!
Our lot is the 1st from the left (on the bottom, not the top). They finally laid the plumbing!
YAY!! I'm so excited to FINALLY have our own house!! And I'm sure the dogs are going to love having their own backyard to run and poo in! :-) We have our pre-construction meeting on tuesday morning at 7am to meet our contractor and let him know any issues that we're worried about. I am so ready for June/July to get here, so we can move out of this shithole apartment! I'm tired of being woken up at 1am and 4am daily by the stupid fat ass neighbor who thinks that she's the only one who lives here and the stupid apartment managers won't do anything about it!! UGH..I can't wait to tell them I will NOT resign the stupid lease and we outta here!
On the pregnancy front...everything is looking good. I"ll be 11 weeks on Tuesday and I still can't feel my uterus! :-( I know technically on your first pregnancy you usually don't feel your uterus above your pelvic bone until after 12 weeks, but I want to know whats going on in there!! LOL I'll feel much better when I can feel this little bugger move and I can actually feel preggie besides my boobs hurting.
But on a happy note, we purchased our first baby item (besides little clothes and blankets)
What do you think? It actually can switch from swinging from left to right OR front to back. Its great and I can plug it in and its just so darn cute!! I'm excited to fill it with our little baby!!
Well gonna relax for the rest of the night. Don't forget to vote if you think we'll have a boy or a girl!! I'm curious about what you guys think!!

Great weekend!!
Hello all....Almost 10 weeks preggie and had a wonderful weekend with my family. My brothers and sisters came in to visit. We FINALLY announced the build of our new house and of course that we're expecting! YAY They were ecstatic!!
We ate lunch at Wasabi, a great sushi restaurant. Before you worry...I was good! I only ate the cooked ones! ;-)
We went to Destination Maternity to look and shop for some maternity clothes for me! Who knew shopping for bigger clothes would be fun! LOL Thanks again Chris & Gina for buying me some wonderful maternity clothes...can't wait to actually wear them!!
We found some cute clothes and when going to try them on they had a 7 month belly in the changing room (so you could try on clothes with an idea of how you would look with the belly) so I tried it on and "oh boy" it was definitely weird to see myself with a belly! LOL
It was so crazy...even trying on the pants with the belly was awkward! LOL Trying to bend my legs to put my legs in the pants hole was a task...I can't imagine when there's a real belly there in the way! LOL
I also tried on some nursing bras. I follow this great chick on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/schuermanshow) and she had on a wonderful nursing bra and so I looked into it. The lady at the store offered to size me and OMG I have already grown. I was a 36C pre pregnancy and now i"m a 36D...I can't imagine how much more they are going to grow...oh holy crap! LOL I've always wanted boobs, but wow! LOL
We all went to Dicks Last Resort for dinner:

9 weeks 2 days
Well according to baby center.com our baby is now a fetus. It's crazy to think that next week I will be 10 weeks pregnant. My brothers and sister in laws are coming in this Saturday and we can finally tell them not only that we are building a house, but that we are pregnant. It's going to be very exciting!
This week has definitely had it's ups and downs. Daniel and I celebrated our two year anniversary on Tuesday, the 8th. Daniel was very romantic and took us to the restaurant that we had our first dinner as husband and wife at-La Fonda. The company was definitely way better than the food, but it was great night overall
Nausea comes and goes for me...but thankfully still only nausea and no throwing up. I am getting up at night more to go pee, which sucks because its so hard for me to go back to sleep afterwards. I did have some cramping/twinges start yesterday, but I guess my uterus is growing again...duh! I am having BAD sciatic nerve pain down my left leg and it sucks because i've had to turn off my spinal cord stimulator because there isn't enough evidence or studies to prove that it wouldn't harm the baby. So I have to suck up the pain until October, but you can bet you booty that I will be charging up in the delivery room! Lol
Oh yea.....remember the cystic fibrosis tests that they drew blood for at my first OB appointment? Well turns out that I am a carrier for the gene...so Daniel had to get tested as well and thankfully he didn't test positive for the gene!! So one less worry! Whew

8w3d
Hello all, this morning we had our last ultrasound with our fertility doctor. Sad to say goodbye to them, but so happy to be let go from there! :-)
The baby is doing wonderfully!
As you can tell the heart rate has drastically increased from 114 to 174 bpm...it was so strong!! He/She has also grown from 6w6d/7w at 0.87cm to today at 1.92cm thats a little more than doubling in just one week and three days! YAY
So its not as clear as the others are, but you can definitely see how he/she has grown! Also the little foot looking thing is the umbilical cord....Daniel made the joke that he/she is already a soccer player and that it looks like a foot going for a ball!! LOL It does look that way, right? LOL

Amazing how fast and strong the heart rate is!! I'm getting more and more excited. Still a small fear in me that I will miscarry, but its decreasing more and more every day! Nausea is getting worse during the day....still no throwing up, just nausea. So I'll take it; especially if thats the only horrible thing I'll have to deal with during this pregnancy!!
Today I made my first trip to Destination Maternity!! WOW, what a great store!! They were all so friendly and so helpful!! So I bought a pair of jeans and a pair of capris. I also got two summer shirts that were on sale! Can't wait until there's a noticeable bump to fill out the shirts! For right now, I'm still dealing with the bloat, but I don't think it'll be too much longer...my regular jeans don't fit anymore at all. I used to be able to at least zip up a little, but now NO WAY!! lol but thats good, there's a baby in there growing!! :-)
So ready for my brothers and sister in laws to come next weekend...I'm so ready to tell the whole world...its hard to keep a secret from them! So one week exactly and it'll be all out in the open! YAY
