Its a beautiful (and exhausting) day!!

Hey the countdown is down to 49 days! We're picked our caterer-Heavenly Gourmet, and let me tell you...their food definitely meets the criteria of their name! LOL The food is going to be so freakin good...I'm hungry right now just thinking about it!
We have a meeting with the DJ tomorrow..time to go over the jams we want to dance to!
Then this saturday and sunday coming up I have hair and makeup. Luckily my mom is coming down this friday, so I"ll be able to get her opinion about the hair and the makeup!
We got the invitations out and we already got our first RSVP!! Daniel said that we should send her a prize for the first return! LOL
So back in November, when I went home for Thanksgiving, I had purchased (with my mom's opinion) these round glass bowls to do the centerpieces with. So yesterday, Daniel and I took a trip to Michael's Craft store and we found these great clear and lime green crystal stone thingies that will be placed in the bottom and then have the same light pink gerbera daisies floating on water. I'm including a picture, but the color of the daisies are too dark, remember they will be lighter at the wedding...and I'm going to buy more glass thingies to place in the bottom. Let me know what you think!

Ah, away from the wedding, things are going good in school-I got a 92 on my first exam of the semester! WOOHOO!!
Daniel and I have a meeting with a mortgage lender on Friday morning...getting pre-approved for our first house. So the search has started with what kind of house we're like to purchase...3 or 4 bedrooms, nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and of course a great backyard for Lexi and Jack to run as much as they want to!!

So I'll keep in touch as the date comes closer!! And let you know how things go with the house hunt!!
Hope everyone is in good healthy and happy spirits! MUAH! Love ya!

Happy New Year!!!!

Can you believe that its 2009??? Man, years are just flying by and I don't like it one bit! Daniel and I returned from a great 5 days in Mexico with his family! It was exhausting and relaxing at the same time. We were constantly in the car driving from place to place, but it seems that time stands still in mexico! There's no TV, no internet, nada. Its wonderful. So wonderful, in fact, that I've been thinking of canceling my cable subscription....maybe! LOL

While in Monclova, we tried once again to see if we could get married on the 31st and still no luck with the stupid judge! Blah! Oh well!

But we did decide that since we're not going to have a honeymoon until after I graduate from Nursing school, that we're going to go to Mexico the week after we get married. We'll be having a huge "turnaboda" which is this huge wedding after party, in Nueva Rosita- which is the town that Daniel's grandparents live in. They have a huge ranch in the country, so we're going to go to the ranch from his grandparents house in a horse and carriage. All it will cost us is 4 cases of beer for the drivers. His uncle is going to get a generator, b/c there's no electricity at the ranch, so we're going to try and find a kareoke machine and they will decorate the ranch with lights and everything! Should be fun, and there will be lots of food and alcohol...and we probably won't be going to bed until the next morning or afternoon!!

But we had a great New Year in Mexico and now back to the grind of the U.S. Ugh..I didn't miss the fast pace of San Antonio. Its back to school on Monday and back to being completely stressed out and exhausted!

But 63 days until Daniel and I get married and I'm so ready to get it over with and be married already! The only thing left to do is food tasting and finding our caterer and then figuring out what kind of centerpieces that we're going to be doing and thats it!! LOL
Well hope you all had a wonderful new year! MUAH! Love ya!
