FREE & CLEAR!!!!

I just got home from my HSG (hysterosalpingogram) where they inject dye thru your uterus to see if there are any blockages from your uterus to your ovaries or any fibroids/cysts in your uterus that can stop you from getting pregnant. Well, everything was perfectly clear.......the radiologist even told me that sometimes women get pregnant right afterwards because the dye flushed everything clear. So hopefully things will start happening now.

The HSG was pretty uncomfortable. They lay you on their radiology table and clean you off with betadine and then insert a plastic vaginal speculum in your vagina. Then they inserted a tube that had a little balloon on the end of it....they blew up the balloon once they were fully inserted into my uterus. There was tons of cramping and pressure. Then they had me slide up further on the table and started live x-ray as they pushed the dye thru the tube. It was so cool to see the dye go all the way up and show my fallopian tubes and ovaries and flush over into my abdomen. Very relieving!! Now I'm cramping pretty badly, but they said it would only last a couple of hours and maybe slightly into tomorrow morning. I am taking a 7 day dose of antibiotics so I don't get an infection from inserting the foreign body into my uterus.

Daniel has to give his sample on Thursday and then all we have left is my Cycle Day 21 progesterone level labs and glucose tolerance test, which is on the 5th of October. So praying that all we need is a little Clomid and we can get pregnant quickly!
We decided to keep an envelope in the "pregnancy memory book" that holds all the receipts of the fertility treatment. Curious on how much its going to cost us to finally have a baby. We also decided that we are going to try getting pregnant as soon as we deliver our first baby. Might as well try quickly so we won't have to deal with another 1.5 years of trying to get pregnant.

On a lighter note, I did color my hair!!

I went for a dark auburn/reddish color and cut some shorter bangs. Thinking of going shorter with the bangs, but not sure yet.
Well I'll be sure to chat again when there's more to tell!! TTYL!
