The big one is that i FINALLY graduated from Nursing School. So I officially have an Associates in Applied Science-Nursing. After graduation, I still had to sit for the Texas Board of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse....scary!

We had a pinning ceremony before graduation, to induct us into the Nursing family. It was great!!

This was Sandra & I waiting for the graduation ceremony to start!

In the stands during the ceremony!!

Waiting to be called to get my diploma!

Just got my diploma! YAY
I quit my job at St. Lukes (there was a ton of drama & the boss wound up being someone I wouldn't want to work for!!) So I took 2 months off of working & studied for my NCLEX!

I passed on the first try (the computer shut off at 75 questions) and I'm officially a Registered Nurse! WHEW!!!

Lets see, the world cup happened and of course I cheered for GERMANY!!

With the free time, Daniel & I were able to go to the lake and relax with the kiddos!! And shockingly we actually got them in the water!! LOL

Also, Lily turned 6 years old in May & Lexi turned 6 years old in June. I have a pic of lexi, but Lily wouldn't let me near her with a candle! LOL
Well after lots of relaxing, I finally got a job with DaVita dialysis clinic! They're a wonderful group of people and its nice to get to know my patients. As of right now, I am learning the job of a PCT (patient care tech) which means I"m actually doing the dialysis treatments. I'm sticking them and starting all the treatment; but I'm also assessing my patients & doing RN work. Slowly, I'll start doing meds and the ultimate goal of my hire is charge nurse...but first I need to know what all the employees do in the clinic (what kind of boss would I be if I didn't understand their job too!) So still kind of in school, since there's so much to learn!!!

Daniel's job sent us to Chicago for the weekend. It was to celebrate their 20th anniversary! But Daniel & I got to sightsee and we LOVED Chicago!! There's so much history and we would love to go back(one day) and definitely see a Cub's game!!
Well you're pretty much caught up on the last 6 months or so. Daniel & I are still trying to get pregnant. No luck, so we've had to start looking for help from outside sources! LOL So in September, Daniel & I will go to see a fertility specialist to see whats wrong. I know for sure thats its me, so hopefully this can be corrected with some Clomid and things don't need to progress to Insemination or IVF. The miscarriage that I had in Oct 09 really stopped all my ovulation, and we are trying fertility acupuncture and thats really helped regulate my body temperatures (since I keep track of my Basal Body Temps)..but still no luck with getting pregnant. Our goal is to be pregnant before the end of the year! Keep your fingers crossed!!!
So I'll close for now and write back again soon. Promise that it won't be 6 months again!! xoxoxoxoxo
